JOY CLASS

A few years ago a group of scientists got together and decided that the mental health community spent way too much time working on how not to be sick and way too little time understanding how to be well. We knew enormous amounts about depression, anxiety, etc. but precious little about happiness, fulfillment, joy, etc. The field of Positive Psychology was born.

Joy Class was created to help all of us understand and apply the excellent work being done in this new field of Positive Psychology. We look at key ideas from the work of Positive Psychology researchers, then talk about how to use those ideas to improve our lives, building joy into the very fabric of our daily experiences.

We're hoping to have online discussion groups soon. Get on our email list and we'll make sure you don't miss it.

Joy Class
Come and learn what scientists are discovering about increasing joy and life satisfaction. Each week we will focus on one of these life-changing discoveries by reviewing a key idea from a research-based Positive Psychology book. We'll focus on finding ways to apply these ideas in our own lives and support each other as we build new joy-increasing skills.
